About This Project
Eagle Roofing Products is a California-based concrete tile manufacturer that has been producing tiles for the state's Spanish and Mediterranean architectural styles for decades. The Malibu profile is their medium S-tile, capturing the classic barrel tile look that defines so many Santa Cruz County homes. The Santa Cruz Blend colorway was made for exactly this region.
Concrete tile is one of the most durable roofing materials available. Properly installed and maintained, it outlasts most other residential roofing systems. For this project our crew prepared the structural deck for tile weight, installed the appropriate underlayment system for tile roofing, set all tile batten strips, and completed the full Malibu tile installation including all hip and ridge caps, flashing, and closures.
